House and Garden Transformation

Gates House Gardens were appointed to transform the external appearance and surrounding landscape of a large family residence near Wickham, Hampshire. The works combined building upgrades with a full garden remodel to create a cohesive and modern finish. The house elevations were upgraded with new composite cladding and fresh render, while the garage was refurbished with chunky timber posts and matching cladding to strengthen the architectural character of the frontage. Externally, the front garden and driveway were remodelled using metal edging and a new shingle drive, improving both appearance and access. To the rear, a new composite decking area and Indian sandstone patio were constructed to create practical outdoor living spaces.

Groundworks, Utilities & Site Enhancements

Infrastructure improvements included the installation of a new 6–8 person sewage treatment plant, with all works completed in line with Building Control approval. Additional elements included a pergola, gates and equestrian fencing to the paddock, electric gate installation, and demolition and removal of existing structures and materials. This project drew on Gates House Gardens’ in-house expertise across groundworks and drainage, carpentry, electrical installations, electric gates and practical garden design solutions.
